Requirements

Oempro is designed to work even on low-resource server environments, but we strongly recommend a dedicated server for Oempro for performance reasons.

Below, you can find two server specifications for different purposes. These server specs are tested environments and can easily handle the given data volume.

500,000 - 3,000,000 Subscribers

The following server specs can easily handle between 500,000 and 3,000,000 subscribers and their data.

Server Specs:

  • 8x CPU
  • 32GB RAM
  • 500GB SSD disk space
  • This setup can host the MySQL on the same server with Oempro
  • Ubuntu 18.04LTS or similar operating system

3,000,000 or More Subscribers

If you have more than 3 million subscribers, the following server setup can provide you the needed performance, especially for advanced segments.

Server Specs:

  • 40x CPU
  • 64GB RAM
  • 500GB SSD disk space
  • This setup can host the MySQL on the same server with Oempro
  • Ubuntu 18.04LTS or similar operating system

500,000 or Less Subscribers

For storing a few hundred thousands of subscribers, a VM instance on Amazon, Google Cloud, Digital Ocean, Linode or other cloud service provider can also be used.

VM Instance Specs:

  • 4x vCPU
  • 16GB RAM
  • 100GN SSD disk space
  • Ubuntu 18.04LTS or similar operating system

These are not mandatory server requirements. You can host Oempro on less powerful server as well but the performance and capacity of handling data volume will decrease. These two server specs are tested ones and already being used in production level with given data and delivery volumes.
